Live blog: Pats v. Wheat Kings (3rd period)

Jayco "Shoot to Win" for a trailer tonight.... We'll see if someone can win.... both shooters combine for 7(?) goals.

....PP to start the third (well 1:56 left of one).

....0/1 on the PP tonight so far.

....Weak call gives the Wheat Kings their 4th pp of the night at 3:44. Weal for slashing.

....Another kill.... I don't think Brandon got a shot on net.

....10:04 Weal snipes on a nice pass from Mitchell. Scheidl is all over the ice tonight makes the play behind the Wheat King net getting the puck to Mitchell who passed it out to Weal for the tap in. Schiedl picks up the secondary assist. 4-3 Pats.

....12:05 Brandon ties it up with a weak goal by Glennie tying the game up at 4-4.

....12:31 Scheidl completes the hat trick. 5-4 Pats. Assists to Weal and Bell.

....13:16 Toews takes a hooking penalty giving the Pats a man advantage.

....13:53 Scheidl deposits his 4th of the game on the powerplay tucking the puck around a sprawled out Boes. Assists to Weal and Mitchell. 6-4 Pats.

....15:31 Fransoo cuts the Pats lead back to 1 as he scores on a slapper from the point through legs. 6-5 Pats.

....With 50.8 seconds left Brandon has pulled their goalie...

....PATS WIN PATS WIN PATS WIN!!!!!!

3 Stars
1. Scheidl
2. Mitchell
3. Weal
