Live Blog: Pats and Warriors First Period

....Will we have a "healthy" line-up tonight? We'll see soon.

....Looks like Hewitt returns to tend goal tonight and we have a full lineup - minus Moser and Borstmayer.

....Some new lines tonight.... starting Scheidl - Jung - Ouellette.

....Martell - Weal - Mitchell.

....Olstad - Reddin - Stevenson.

....Neigum - Stephenson - Rieder.

....Warriors take the early lead 3:58 in on a howitzer from Svendsen that he ripped low glove side past Hewitt. Looked like he wanted that one back. Bowman and McFaul pick up the helpers.

....McIlrath and Stevenson pick up unsportsmanlike minors 4:35 in. This could get interesting. 4 on 4 hockey.

....Reddin picks up a hooking minor 5:10 in giving the Warriors a 4 on 3 powerplay.

....great kill. Negated by a terrible defensive lapse by Blidstrand and Schneider. Svendsen gets the goal with Paradis picking up the assist at 7:42. 2-0 Warriors.

....We don't appear to have a backup netminder as Ketlo isn't on the bench. He did appear to be sluggish during the warmup.

....Pats take another hooking minor as Weal gets called at 14:17. MJ to the powerplay.

....McFaull takes a roughing minor with 56.8 seconds left in the first giving the Pats their first powerplay of the contest.

....17-8 shots for the Jaw.

I've been trying to think about...

how to add more content to TheBlueliner but I'm not sure what I want to add here. I keep on saying to check back in the near future but I just never get back here. I have a couple of other things going on and I hope that I have more time to focus on things that I can put here. Seeing as Twitter is my main source I'll start embedding my tweets here. Earlier in the year, Rob Vanstone did a story on me for the Leader-Post which I'll share here: As far back as 41-year-old Kevin Shaw can remember, he has been fascinated with the @WHLPats — as evidenced by his extensive collection https://t.co/UD8JrxQSwG #WHL — Regina Leader-Post (@leaderpost) February 7, 2020 Some of my regular daily Tweets include Pats Alumni and their birthdays. I usually write a small biography on each player that had birthdays. July 11th's @WHLPats alumni birthdays...
