Media release:
Regina, Saskatchewan – This weekend the Regina Pats will have their top prospects in the Queen City for spring camp. The goal of the camp is to get the players acclimated to the Regina Pats Hockey Club before training camp in late August and for the front office and coaching staff to get an exclusive look at the prospects playing within their own age group.
Over 20 of the Pats top prospects will take part in 2 practices, seminars on education, training regiments and nutrition. Players will also get to know the Pats staff and learn about what the WHL has to offer. Seven of the top 10 picks from the Pats 2011 WHL Bantam Draft are attending. Adam Brooks (25th overall) and Dane Schioler (36th overall) are not attending the camp because of Manitoba U-16 Top 40 Camp, while Nathan Churchill (106th overall) has education commitments. All three will be attending Training Camp in August.
Seven players from the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft will attend this weekend’s camp including 1st round pick, Morgan Klimchuk and 3rd rounder, Kyle Burroughs.
Also attending will be free agent invitees Dryden Hunt (Nelson, BC) who attended the Pats 2010 training camp and goaltender Teagan Sacher (Winnipeg, MB) from the 2011 Telus Cup winning Winnipeg Thrashers.

I'm planning on attending for a bit on Saturday but am unable to make it for the Sunday practice. I will do a quick write up for what I see if I can make it there.
It should be an interesting practice with only one coach in place.
