Team Red/White Scrimmage

Just as I was figuring out the players they go and make new teams.

This will be fun! And I mean that in a good way.

Starters are: 33 White, Beukeboom Red

Red gets a minor less than a minute in (#4 I believe) giving white the PP.

#25 White deposits a feed from #20 (behind the goal line). PP Goal 1-0 White a little over 2 minutes in.

Red takes a tripping minor sending white to the PP with 11:50 left in 1.

Martell buries a pass from Weal on a 2 on 1 during the PP to give team White a 2-0 lead. 10:52 left in the first.

White takes a minor, didn't see the call but Red gets a PP with about 5:40 left int he first.

Red 19 (or 18 not sure) scores as White's defence has a miscue and is able to sneak through and with 2:45 left Red is back to within one at 2-1.

2-1 White leads after 1.

Note: I love the straight time thing but I don't like not having a scorekeeper.

On a broken play just over a minute in Stevenson grabs the loose puck and rips it high glove side to tie the contest at 2.

2:04 Weal doing all the work around the net feeds Martell a pass near the left faceoff dot and Martell wires home the one-timer to give White the lead 3-2.

3:22 White is called for a penalty giving Red a PP.

5:28 Stephenson rips home a marker top shelf to tie the contest again at 3.

6 Red blasts a shot that deflects off the White forward that was attempting a block and beats 33 upstairs. 4-3 Red.

Goalies switch at about the halfway mark and 43 (Churchill) is in net for White and 45 (Gora?) is in net for Red.

Red takes a hook at 14:20 and White goes on the PP.

Peel converts on the PP for White as he snuck in from the point and put it past the goaler. 4-4.

4-4 at the end of the second.

9:45 in Davidson (White) scores through a screen with a seeing eye shot and gives White a 5-4 lead.

14:30 Martell (White) scores off the post off the goalie and in. 6-4 White.

15:45 White scores again, I was typing so I missed the goal scorer and the players never really celebrated (I think it might have been Martell [that's a guess] with the marker). 7-4 White.

19:45 major snipeage by Scheidl. He totally deked out Davidson with a 'dirty move' (as one fan put it) and ripped the puck short side on Churchill. 7-5 White.

7-5 White Final.
