Update

I don't have much to say about Saturday's game at Edmonton as I only caught the first period.

I was surprised to hear that Ketlo was in net... Especially after the show Hewitt put on Friday night. It sounded like Ketlo let in a couple of weak goals in the first and it went downhill from there. I don't know if Hunt didn't want to throw Hewitt to the wolves or what.... Edmonton has destroyed us in all three contests this year.

Just when I think the team has turned the corner they go and hit the curb and now we have to wait to see if they get totally off track or if they can bounce back. I think they can bounce back and make something of the rest of the season.

D-Day Dud....

As everyone already knows the Pats dealt Mitch Spooner to Seattle for a 5th round pick (conditional). I think Mitch is a decent WHLer and I wish him all the best in Seattle.

I really was expecting Chad to make a move or two but I'm okay with what he's done and is doing with the Pats. I think that the ship is heading in the right direction. I just hope he is around for the next while when we are contenders.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's tilt vs. the top ranked Blades.

Win or lose I'm getting more excited about this team.... and I'm not sure why.

GO PATS GO!

This is the issue I have with Hunt. Hewitt plays an outstanding game in net and the next game he goes back with Ketslow (and that's not a typo). How many times does Ketlo have to be pulled or give up 6 or 7 goals before he is demoted? Hewitt has played phenomenally in his starts and I hope to God that he is rewarded for that play and gets the start in net. I once thought Ketlo was the goalie of the future now I just hope he plays himself out of a job. -big guy
