----------
I know it's a couple of days after the game but I figured I would post the summary and a couple of thoughts.
I really don't have much to say about the game but I do have a few things that I figured I would point out.
The Pats are not a great skating team and are rather slow and have trouble keeping up to a quicker team.
Our defence needs another veteran to ease the burden on the kids (Davidson, Borstmayer, Bell) and I don't think they have the trust of our goaltender (Guhle).
Guhle handles the puck like a grenade and it's scary to see him try to stick handle. He still lets in bad/soft goals.
My buddy that sits beside me didn't even realize that Strueby was playing until the second period. Man he pretty much disappears for periods at a time.
For being such a "defensive" club.... the team can't keep the puck out of the net.... for whatever reason.
Where has the Pats leadership been? Other than Eberle's crazy hot start I don't see how he is the leader. Leffler has been taking some really bad penalties and seems to be hit and miss with his effort. Teubert is Teubert (and taking waaaaaay too much grief yet again) and I honestly don't see him with a 'C' on his jersey. Delahey has been the Pats most consistent 20-year old and probably the Pats' best d-man but will he wear the 'C', I just don't know.
-------------
I wonder if BP is wishing he kept Rowat? Guhle 4.28 and a .864% AND Ketlo 3.36 and a .905%
Not very impressive numbers.
-------------
People may agree or disagree with what I say but it's my opinion and I'm not being too harsh (or at least I don't think).
That's all for now.
