Pats fall to 0-2 to start the season

Rod Pedersen has the story on his blog: here.

Greg Harder's version of the events is on his blog: here.

Edit: Here is the story from the Leader-Post here, also by Greg Harder.

I don't have much to say right at the moment as I am a little disappointed with tonight's game. Some players looked good.... others looked bad.... I will have a few more thoughts tomorrow. I just need to digest this one a bit.

just a disappointing game. We showed up to play for the most part but just couldnt get a break all night long, and it almost looked like an extention of last season out there. The pats outplayed Brandon alot of the game, but I think the first 30 seconds set the tone and the last 30 seconds summed up our luck. Tough to see Metz go down, hopefully its not for long.

I think we showed a good transition game most of the night, but we have no finish...also seemed like most guys looked clueless in the offensive zone. 1(unassisted) goal in 6 periods of play backs that statement up.

But aside from all of that, this games standouts in my mind included Leffler, Weal of course, Mitchell, Davidson(seemingly never makes mistakes), Czibere(played smart and ruled the faceoff circle), Reider and even Ketlo. Though I noticed the Euros arent being used properly at all, and guys like Hood and Slobo(isnt his name Justin?) just dont seem on at all.

Hopefully having Delahey back changes things, but I doubt it until we trade for some more skill.
