Bad news for Garrett Mitchell

Out 4 to 6 weeks with a broken thumb (was kinda expected). Bad news for the Pats.

"It sucks, but there's nothing much you can do,'' the Regina-born Mitchell said. "You've just got to battle through it. I can't change anything now.

"It's better to take things a little slower and get it looked after right away than to rush back and hurt it again. It's still early in the season. I just want to get back playing as soon as I can.''
